Is Houston JDM Motors open yet?
We’re preparing our Houston location. Find us at 1700 Wirt Road, Houston, TX. Our hours are Monday–Saturday, 8 AM–6 PM. Our opening date is still to be confirmed. You can email us now about an engine, transmission, or accessory.
Do you offer repairs or engine installation?
We sell engines, transmissions, and accessories. We do not provide repairs or installation. Buyers arrange installation with their own mechanic.
What does JDM mean?
JDM stands for Japanese Domestic Market. In this context, it describes engines, transmissions, and parts originally intended for vehicles sold in Japan.
How do I know which engine fits my vehicle?
Start with your vehicle’s year, make, model, engine code, and transmission type. An engine family alone does not establish compatibility. Mounts, electronics, emissions requirements, and accessories can differ. Confirm the exact unit with your installer before purchasing.
Are all catalog listings in Houston stock?
Catalog reference listings show source photos and applications to help you identify a part. They are available for inquiries; Houston stock, price, and exact compatibility are confirmed separately. Listings marked Available have a confirmed stock quantity.
Do you sell transmissions and accessories?
Yes. Use the catalog’s Engines, Transmissions, and Accessories filters to browse. Send the part code and your vehicle details so we can confirm availability and fitment.
What warranty do you offer?
Used replacement engines: 90 days, unlimited miles. Used performance engines, including turbo, VTEC, i-VTEC, VVT, VVT-i and GTE: 30 days, unlimited miles. Rotary engines (including Mazda RX-7 / RX-8, 13B, 13BT / 13BTT and 20B): No warranty. Used performance and manual transmissions: 30 days, unlimited miles. Used replacement transmissions (excluding performance and manual transmissions): 90 days, unlimited miles. Accessories and other parts: Sold as-is, without warranty. The stated warranty periods apply unless otherwise specified on your sales receipt.
How does the inquiry form work?
